The organized excursion includes crossing the gorge by rubber raft and taking a walk along the Pollina River.

During the activity, it is possible to admire the typical flora and fauna of the river environment.

Duration: 2 hours Period: April - October Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM April and October: Saturday and Sunday upon reservation May, June, July, August, and September: daily upon reservation. Please note that the excursions may be suspended on days when weather and river conditions do not allow for a safe crossing on the rubber boat.

"La Rocca" is available for the entire day, with a guarded parking area, bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, tables, and barbecue facilities.

The price also includes a guided tour of the historic centre of San Mauro Castelverde.

How to get there: By car, you can directly reach the guarded parking area at La Rocca equipped area. From this point, a minibus (round trip) will be used to reach the starting point of the excursion, which is approximately 0.500 km away.

By bus: Exit A 20 Castelbuono (PA) or Tusa (ME); follow the direction towards Finale di Pollina; after passing the town (for those coming from Castelbuono) or before the town (for those coming from Tusa); take the SP 52 towards San Mauro Castelverde (PA), for 8 km (Borrello junction); turn right and continue SP 60 for 1.5 km until reaching the Tiberio junction where the buses stop.

From this point, a shuttle bus (round trip) will be used to reach the starting point of the excursion, which is approximately 1.50 km away.
